The leather is a natural product from animal hides and therefore could differ from hide to hide. Variation in the texture of the leather should not be considered a fault but is a part of its inherent natural beauty and uniqueness. During the tanning process, the colour absorption could be more or less depending on the hide, this may cause irregularities in the consistency and depth of the colour.
Please note that leather will always have natural marking such as dents, scars, scratches, wrinkles or blemishes. These markings or irregularities are not defects rather indications of genuine leather.
